Dear Miami University Alumni, Friends & Family,
We are thrilled to announce a brand new adventure trip to satisfy the soul and palate! Join us in September 2011 on an outdoor adventure to California's wine country.
Our 6 day, 5 night adventure features several days of biking amidst the vineyards and wineries of Sonoma County. But this adventure is more than just a bike tour of wine country. We’ll visit the Pacific coast and paddle in the protected waters of Tomales Bay; we’ll hike amidst giant redwood stands; and we’ll enjoy visits to many wineries throughout our tour.
Each day includes biking through rolling hills, along rivers or amidst scenic vineyards. Several different routes of varying lengths are offered to meet the needs of each participant. We’ll enjoy fabulous food and wine and spend our nights in three unique properties, including a small historic inn and two high end hotels located near the town squares of Sonoma and Healdsburg.
Our adventure will be led by Northwest Voyageurs, owned and operated by Andy Nachman. Andy and Northwest Voyageurs have been providing extraordinary outdoor adventures for the Miami University Travel Program since 2004.
Space is very limited on this exclusive adventure, so please make your reservations early.
We hope you choose to join us on this unforgettable adventure!
In the spirit of adventure,
Ray Mock
