Costa Rica is an outdoor adventure paradise. In a relatively small country, an enormous variety of adventure activities are available. The Pacuare River is considered one of the best multi-day river journeys in the world. Wildlife abounds and on our trips we'll view spider monkeys, howler monkeys, three-toed sloths, toucans and a wide-variety of other wildlife and bird life.

Costa Rica is a peaceful nation in Central America, being one of the few countries without a standing military. The country is very safe and very tourist friendly, with good infrastructure for traveling throughout the country. Of course when in San Jose, the standard big city safety rules apply. Costa Ricas, known as "Ticos", are extremely friendly and welcoming.
