Employment Opportunities

Internship Opportunities - Summer, Spring, and Fall

At Northwest Voyageurs and the Little Salmon Lodge, we hire several interns each summer. If a summer on the river and in the wild, gaining valuable business, travel, recreation, and hospitality management experience sounds good to you, you should consider interning with us.

Our internships offer excellent opportunities for hands-on business experience as you are included in every aspect of the company. Unlike many large corporate internships where you only see one narrow aspect of the business, our entrepreneurial internships offer the opportunity to see all aspects of what it takes to run your own business.

Applicants should be highly motivated self-starters, who are able to see the big picture, yet still pay close attention to details. Owning your own business is a proactive and reactive exercise, so interns must be able to go with the flow while anticipating problems and being able to respond quickly to the unexpected.

Benefits
During your summer with Northwest Voyageurs and the Little Salmon Lodge, you will be in many situations allowing you to take charge and improve you leadership abilities. After gaining valuable management experience and organizational skills, you will walk away knowing you can tackle anything. Other benefits include:

Applications for our summer program should be in as early as possible, but no later than May 1 of the given year.
