SALMON RIVER - ONE AND HALF DAY RAFTING TRIPS

Itinerary:

Upon arriving at the Lodge, you will have an opportunity to get suited for wet suits if necessary, fitted in your life jacket, and put any of your personal items you would like to take with you on the river in our dry bags.

Full Day Trips: Day trips depart from the Little Salmon Lodge at 9:00 am and return around 5:00. Please plan to be to our lodge by 8:30 am. Full day trips cover 20 miles typically, from Spring Bar to Lucile and include mostly Class III whitewater with some Class IV or IV+ rapids in spring high water. The trip includes a delicious lunch buffet on one of the Salmon's beautiful sand beaches. Lunch includes an extensive deli sandwich bar, fresh fruit and veggies, chips and dip or salsa, and homemade cookies for dessert.

1/2 Day Trips: Choose a 9 a.m. morning departure, returning to the Lodge around 1:00. Or a 1 p.m. afternoon departure, returning to the Lodge around 5pm. Plan to be to our Little Salmon Lodge 30-minutes before the departure time.

Our half-day trip covers approximately 11 miles of the river, from Shorts Bar to Lucile and includes mostly Class III whitewater with the possibility of a Class IV depending on water conditions. The whitewater is fun throughout the spring and summer season, even in very low water conditions. During the trip, we'll stop on a beautiful sand beach and enjoy a river snack.

Upon finishing your adventure, we pick you up in Lucile and drive you back to our Lodge where you can relax and reminisce over a cold beverage at the bar and view digital photos of your trip on our computer screen.
