You are required to bring a shotgun and appropriate ammunition for your chukar hunt. You can use a 12 gauge, 16 gauge or a 20 gauge shotgun, though we recommend a 16 or 20 gauge. Anything smaller than a 20 gauge is not large enough to cleanly and responsibly take chukar.

We recommend something between a 6 and 8 load.

Lastly, you are welcome to bring a bird dog on your trip. Please be sure to let us know ahead of time if you are bringing your dog.
