On our day trips, we typically concentrate only on catching steelhead, though we can bring light tackle rods if you wish. On our multi-day wilderness fishing adventures, we will also provide sturgeon fishing tackle if desired. On these trips, we can fish for sturgeon, rainbow trout and smallmouth bass. If you wish to bring your own light tackle equipment, here are a few recommendations:

Bass & Trout - Fly Fishing

• 5-6 weight fly rod
• 5-6 weight floating line w/ medium to fast sinking tip
• Bass flies: try purple, green and white poppers and streamer patterns
• Trout flies: Caddis patterns, midges

Bass & Trout - Spinning Tackle

• Average sized trout rod with light tackle
• 2-4 pound test line
• Lures: Spinners, meps, spoons, jigs
