The weather during our Owyhee river trips varies dramatically from day to day and week to week. We've done trips in early April that were in the 70s and sunny for a week and we've done trips in May that were in the 30s & 40s with rain and snow. You should be prepared for bad, cold, windy and wet weather regardless of the weather forecast. If you are a fair-weather outdoors person, an Owyhee trip may not be the best adventure option for you. But if you are willing to brave possible foul weather, the Owyhee Canyon will reward you beyond measure!
