SEA KAYAKING IN BAJA: PADDLING THE SEA OF CORTEZ

Baja Sea Kayak Accommodations
Our first and last nights in Baja are spent at a hotel in charming Loreto, Baja. This sleepy town on the Sea of Cortez offers a peaceful mix of a little culture, beautiful scenery and some worthwhile shops and tourist sites. The ocean view is incredible and sets us up to enjoy the vast views we will see on the rest of our kayaking journey.

Between our evenings in Loreto, we spend 5 nights (or more depending on your itinerary) camping on the beaches of Mexico falling asleep to the sound of the ocean at our feet.

This is a self-supported kayak trip, so we carry all of our food, water, and supplies with us. We'll all assist in the set up and break down of camp, and learn to pack our gear in our kayaks. Tents are provided for the beach camps, though we recommend setting your sleeping bag and pad out under the stars.
